Recently, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park in New Delhi hosted a special assembly presented by Class IV B, focusing on ‘Call of the Wild: World Tiger Day’. The event aimed to educate students about the importance of tiger conservation and inspire them to take action to protect these majestic animals.
The assembly began with an invocation to the Almighty, setting a reflective tone for the proceedings. It continued with a thought of the day, an informative article, and interesting facts about tigers. Students were also updated with the latest news to keep everyone informed about recent events.
The highlight of the assembly was a captivating performance by the students. They sang a beautiful song, ‘Aao Milkar Baagh Bachayen,’ and followed it with a lively dance to ‘Aasman Ko Chookar.’ These performances were not only entertaining but also emphasised the mission and vision of tiger conservation.

A small skit depicting the challenges faced by tigers in zoos captivated the audience, demonstrating the plight of these animals and driving home the need for their protection. The event concluded with a rapid quiz that engaged the students and tested their knowledge on the subject.
The School Principal’s inspirational words added a meaningful touch to the event, encouraging students to actively participate in conservation efforts. The School Vice Principal praised the students for their impressive contributions and efforts.

In recognition of their achievements, NOF awardees from classes 3 to 5 were honored with medals and certificates by the Principal and Vice Principal, celebrating their hard work and dedication.
This assembly not only highlighted the critical issue of tiger conservation but also showcased the talent and enthusiasm of Apeejay School’s students in addressing global concerns through creative and educational means.
