Cold doesn’t bother students of Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad Sector 21-D. And why should it? This is the most awaited time of the season. With winter holidays around the corner, young learners are looking for a break from their otherwise hectic routine.
To delight and inspire these hard workers, the school conducted an exuberant December carnival. The main guests of the day were Mr. Sanjay Shukla, President of Residents Welfare Association in Sector 21-D along with Mr. Pankaj Kumar Shrivastava, Joint Secretary and Mr. Jai Prakash Mavi, Organising Secretary. Mrs. Poornima Vohra and Mrs. Anita Paul, Education Officers at Apeejay Education also graced the occasion. The invitees performed the ribbon cutting ceremony and then announced the fest open.

Soon after, tiny tots of the school showcased a delightful performance. This was followed by an engaging cultural show by the students. With symphonic Christmas carols, talented learners of the school prayed to the Almighty and enthralled the audience.
The fest also hosted a range of entertaining games, food and cloth stalls along with an art and craft corner. These were indeed a crowd puller as more and more people gathered to make their purchases. Braiding and nail art was quite popular among students.
During the event, people enjoyed themselves to the fullest and praised the efforts of the school management, staff and the students. A very special segment of the carnival also catered to the interest of kids inclusive of rides and games.

An array of edible delights, raffle draw and exciting prizes ensured an unforgettable time. The audience, teachers and students got a chance to showcase their talents on the stage by singing and dancing.
Towards the closing of the day, school’s Principal Ms. Priti Wason thanked the audience for showing enthusiastic participation in the event. She cheered for the success of the carnival and conveyed her wishes for the holidays.

“Preparing for a carnival is a great way to understand the real-life usage of subjects like Math, Science, Art, Music and Language. This was coupled with building traits such as leadership, teamwork and empathy in the students.”
-Ms. Priti Wason, Principal, Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad Sector 21-D
