A special class assembly at Apeejay School, Pitampura, marked the birthday of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education. Centred on the theme A Vision That Inspires Generations, the assembly highlighted her vision of value-based education and its impact on successive generations.
The programme brought attention to the role of education in shaping individuals who value integrity, compassion and responsibility alongside academic achievement.
A celebration of values and leadership
The assembly began with a welcome address. This was followed by a morning prayer and the news. The school Principal then addressed the gathering, after which the school pledge was administered. A birthday song was also presented to mark the special occasion.
Each segment formed part of a programme that celebrated Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia’s birthday while keeping the focus on the values associated with her educational vision.

Understanding what true success means
The highlight of the assembly was a leadership talk show titled A Vision That Inspires Generations. The interactive discussion brought together a moderator, student, teacher and alumnus to reflect on Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia’s vision and its influence across generations.
The discussion focused on four essential values: integrity, compassion, responsibility and leadership. Through their interaction, the participants highlighted how these qualities contribute to the development of individuals beyond the classroom.
An important message that emerged was that success cannot be measured through academic achievements alone. Being a good human being, showing concern for others and contributing meaningfully to society are equally important aspects of personal growth.

The discussion reinforced the idea that education must prepare students not only for academic success but also for the responsibilities they carry as individuals.
The assembly concluded with a motivational song, followed by the school song. The celebration brought the focus back to Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia’s vision of education, where character, values and leadership remain central to shaping future generations.
