Music has a quiet way of building confidence in children. It teaches them patience, discipline, listening, and the courage to perform before others. This spirit was reflected at Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad, during the Inter-house Junior Instrumental Music Competition held on 4 July 2026.
The event provided a vibrant platform for young musicians to present their instrumental skills before an audience. Students from different Houses came forward with performances that reflected preparation, focus, and a growing connection with music.
For many young learners, such competitions are not only about prizes. They are also about learning how to hold their nerve, respect rhythm, and express themselves through an art form that demands both practice and patience.
Celebrating artistic expression
The participants delivered captivating performances and displayed confidence on stage. Their dedication was visible in the way they handled their instruments and presented their pieces. The competition also encouraged healthy participation among the House.

The event was judged by Ms Ananya Aditi Bhatia, an esteemed alumna of the school, along with Ms Pehal Shukla, who served as the student judge. Their presence added value to the competition and allowed the young performers to be assessed with care and attention.
Winners recognised for their talent
The first prize was awarded to Prakriti Shukla of Nanak House and Aarav Garg of Gautam House. Aryaman Gupta of Gautam House and Prakhar Shukla of Nanak House secured the second prize. The third prize went to Himakshi of Kabir House and Kanika Tewatia of Gautam House.
The competition concluded with appreciation for all winners and participants. Their performances made the event a memorable celebration of music, creativity, and student talent. More than anything, it showed how school platforms can help children discover confidence through art.
