Exam excellence is not achieved in a single day. It is built through regular effort, clear understanding, disciplined revision, and the right support from teachers and parents. For students, good performance is often the result of simple habits followed with sincerity, such as studying daily, completing homework on time, clearing doubts, and revising important topics again and again.

When children learn to manage their time well and stay consistent with self-study, they become more confident and better prepared for every assessment. Meet two such students, Tanmay Jindal and Reyansh Garg (academic year 2025-26) at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park.

In a candid interview, the duo shares their study strategy, among other things.

Tanmay’s strategy was to study daily, revise important topics repeatedly, and take tests for revision. “This helped me stay regular with my studies and understand how much I had prepared. My teachers guided me in all aspects. They helped me understand complex topics very easily, and their friendly nature also supported me a lot in my studies,” the now Class VII student said.

He also shared that he didn’t find any subject difficult in Class VI. I studied each subject comfortably with the help of my teachers and my mother. I did not make any big difference in my performance in the past years, but from last year, I have started focusing more on self-study,” he added.

Reyansh shared that his understanding of concepts helped him the most in making a difference in his performance this year. “I revised and completed my homework in one hour of study daily. After that, I took a break for one hour, followed by another hour of self-study. This was my daily study schedule,” he stated.

His teachers helped him clear my doubts whenever he had any, the now Class VII student added. “They encouraged me and guided me on how to study well. My parents helped me by constantly supporting me and guiding me. They helped me plan my study schedule and also assisted me whenever I had any doubts,” he said in conclusion.
