This Jalandhar College hosts exciting Fun and Management Games; aims to foster student engagement

The PG Department of Computer Science at Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar, recently organised a series of Fun and Management Games for its students. The IT Forum hosted the event, which aimed to enhance student participation beyond academics, helping them develop their personalities and confidence. Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra emphasised the importance of cultural activities in shaping multifaceted individuals. Various engaging games like Fastest Thought, Bursting Balloons, Caterpillar Race, Tie Your Eyes Race, and Musical Chairs were held, and winners across different categories were awarded. Dr. Dhingra personally congratulated the winners and appreciated the faculty’s efforts in organising the event.

The event kicked off with an enthusiastic atmosphere as students eagerly took part in the games. In the “Fastest Thought” game, Srishati Gupta and Sushobhan Behal secured first place, while Kawalnoor Kaur and Harshdeep Kaur bagged second place. The “Bursting Balloons” competition saw Mrigan Passi and Shivam Dua winning first and second places among boys, while Srishati Gupta and Asees Kaur took the top spots among the girls.

The “Caterpillar Race” brought more excitement, with Sushobhan Behal, Shivam Dua, and Madhusudan winning first place among boys, followed by Purav, Sukhwinder Singh, and Vishal in second place. Among girls, Akshita, Tanya Anand, and Subnoor triumphed in first place, with Akshita, Kawalnoor Kaur, and Harshdeep Kaur securing second place.

In the thrilling “Tie Your Eyes Race,” Purav and Sukhwinder Singh won first place among the boys, while Shivam Dua and Simarjeet Singh came second. Kawalnoor Kaur and Harshdeep Kaur claimed the top spot among girls, followed by Yuvika and Akshita in second place.

The ever-popular “Musical Chairs” game concluded the event on a high note. Harkaran Singh won first place among the boys, with Zorawar Singh finishing in second place. Tanya claimed first place among the girls, while Krishma came in second.

Lastly, Dr. Neerja Dhingra presented certificates to all the winners, congratulating them on their achievements. She commended the students for their enthusiasm and applauded the faculty for their efforts in organising such a lively and engaging event, which not only entertained but also helped in the holistic development of students.
