Exhibitions play a vital role in the lives of budding designers or design students as they get an opportunity to showcase their talent, creativity and innovation. Recognising the importance of organising such student-centric events, the School of Design and Visual Arts (SDVA) at Apeejay Stya University recently hosted a spectacular Exhibition Design display.
During the exhibition, 6th-semester B Design students showcased the exceptional talent and creativity of its. This event brought together students from various design disciplines, including Animation and Multimedia, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, and Interior Design, who presented their impressive coursework to an enthusiastic audience.

Guided by the esteemed Ms. Mita Paul, the students created stunning exhibition designs and window displays for various brands, demonstrating their ability to blend creativity with practical application. Ms. Paul, a seasoned expert in design education, provided invaluable mentorship, encouraging students to push the boundaries of their creativity and think innovatively about design solutions.
The event was a testament to the comprehensive design education provided by Apeejay Stya University, which emphasises hands-on learning and real-world applications. Each student’s work reflected a deep understanding of their respective fields and showcased their unique artistic vision.
In the Animation and Multimedia section, students displayed dynamic and interactive installations that captured the essence of storytelling through digital media. These exhibits highlighted the students’ proficiency in animation techniques, visual effects, and multimedia production, providing a glimpse into the future of digital art.
The Fashion Design exhibits were equally impressive, featuring innovative window displays that combined aesthetics with functionality. Students demonstrated their ability to create visually appealing and brand-consistent displays, reflecting current fashion trends and consumer preferences.
Graphic Design students showcase their skills in visual communication through compelling exhibition designs that effectively convey brand messages and narratives. Their work included a variety of mediums, from print to digital, demonstrating versatility and creativity in their design approach.
Interior Design students presented immersive and thoughtfully designed spaces that emphasised functionality and aesthetic appeal. Their displays showcased a keen understanding of spatial planning, materials, and lighting, creating environments that were both beautiful and practical.
