Apeejay International School, Greater Noida celebrates Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia’s birthday with panache
With music, dance and poetry performances, students express their gratitude and admiration for the Chairperson
The world recognises the rich contribution of Dr Stya Paul, beloved Founder-Chairman of Apeejay Stya Group and Apeejay Education. Dr Paul gave his lifetime to the cause of education and his daughter Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia has rightly followed in his footsteps.
November 2 marked the birthday of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson, Apeejay Education and Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University. The entire Apeejay Group had some special surprises up their sleeve. Similarly, Apeejay International School, Greater Noida delighted all with their heartfelt tribute to the Chairperson.
The school came up with a diverse programme that showcased Mrs Berlia’s multi-dimensional personality and her invaluable contributions in the field of education.
The celebrations began with a warm welcome as Principal, Mrs. Sarita Pande, expressed her gratitude to Mrs Berlia for her relentless dedication in the field of education and her constant support to the school. The principal also highlighted the importance of the Chairperson’s dynamic leadership and the positive impact she has had on the school.
This was followed by a supremely melodious performance as the school’s choir sang melodious songs dedicated to the chairperson. The harmony and unity of voices beautifully conveyed their respect and appreciation for the Chairperson.
Students also put on a mesmerising dance performance that showcased their latent talent and creativity. Akin to the songs, the dance performance was also a heartfelt expression of gratitude and admiration.
A student of class 7 recited a heartfelt birthday poem that celebrated Mrs Berlia’s achievements, leadership and warm spirit. The poem was a touching tribute to the chairperson’s contributions to education and society.
Following the cultural performances, the Principal read out a pledge that upheld the values and principles championed by Mrs Berlia. Through this pledge, all students and teachers reiterated their commitment to excellence, integrity, and leadership in their educational journey.
To honour the Chairperson’s endless contributions and invigorating young minds with dreams and aspirations, colourful balloons were released in the sky. The act represented the school’s commitment towards nurturing the dreams of its students and larger community.
Concluding the celebration, chocolates were distributed amongst all students as a sweet reminder of the joyful occasion and a token of appreciation for their participation.
