A summer camp becomes meaningful when children are given room to move, think and create at their pace. At Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad, the ongoing Summer Camp reflected this spirit through a thoughtful mix of yoga, Science experiments and Artopia, giving students a cheerful space to explore learning beyond regular classroom routines.

The campus remained filled with energy as children participated in activities that balanced fitness, curiosity and creativity. Each session brought a different kind of learning. Some helped students become more aware of their bodies. Some encouraged them to ask questions. Others gave them the freedom to create something with their hands.

Yoga formed an important part of the camp experience. Through guided movements and breathing, students were introduced to the value of calmness, balance and physical discipline. For young children, such sessions do more than improve flexibility. They help children slow down, listen carefully, and understand the connection between mind and body in a simple, age-appropriate way.

The Science experiments sessions added a sense of curiosity to the day. Students engaged with activities that allowed them to observe, test and understand ideas through practical learning. This kind of exposure matters because science often becomes clearer when children see it happening in front of them.

A different kind of excitement came through Artopia, where students tried their hand at creating various handicrafts. The activity gave children space to work with colour, form and imagination. It also encouraged patience, focus and self-expression.

What stood out across the camp was the balance between learning and enjoyment. The activities were not designed as separate tasks but as experiences that helped children discover different parts of themselves.

The summer camp offered students a lively reminder that learning can be active, creative and joyful. For children, such experiences often stay longer because they are felt, not merely taught.
