Teachers play a critical role in shaping the educational experience and development of students. “This school staff can recognise and respond to the individual needs and challenges of their students and provide a supportive and caring environment where students feel valued and understood,” shares Nishat Khan whose daughter Nabiha studies in class V at Apeejay School, Nerul.
Read on to learn about the plethora of extracurricular activities this school offers.
How has your daughter’s journey been at school so far?

Nabiha joined this school in class III and I have found a lot of changes in her personality over the past three years. She has become more interested in literature now and has imbibed a better understanding of academic concepts and what teachers teach at school. Lastly, her confidence levels have also been boosted now.
Why did you choose Apeejay as an admission choice?
When I was planning to shift my child from her earlier school, I realised that Apeejay — from education, knowledge, and holistic learning perspective — is the best. These were the reasons that I decided to enroll my daughter here.
How are the teachers here?
All the staff members at this school are very professional and associated for a long time – so there are many veterans here. Since my child is very curious, teachers here encourage her inquisitiveness and whenever I wish to meet them, they are always readily available at school. PTMs have always been a wonderful experience here.
What sort of extracurricular activities does Nabiha enjoy here?
Right now she is intensely dedicated to learning to play the mandolin. She is also an active participant in lagori (seven stones) during Sports Day, she is also learning Taekwondo. The school offers so many extracurricular activities – poem writing, story writing, and kavita lekhan which my child looks forward to.
Do you agree that school is the second home for a child?
It is because more than half of their daily life they spend with teachers and friends at school, so teachers equally have a big role in the upbringing of a child. It is just not about academics at school, it is equally about overall behaviour, manners, and etiquette in a child which gets developed here.
