Sessions like the ‘coffee morning’ are vital for building strong partnerships between parents and the school. It creates a space for constructive dialogue, allowing parents to voice concerns and collaborate on solutions. This open communication strengthens community ties and enhances the overall educational experience for students.

Recently, the school community of Apeejay School, Noida gathered for a ‘coffee morning’, welcoming the parents from classes VIII-A and VIII-B. The engaging event served as an excellent platform for open dialogue, allowing parents and the school to address shared concerns and discuss key initiatives.

The Principal of the school, Ms Ritu Kohli introduced Ms Puneeta Bhasin, the newly appointed Vice-principal responsible for the Middle Block, emphasising the school’s commitment to effective leadership. Addressing a primary concern about the weight of students’ school bags, the Principal encouraged parents to help their children organise their materials according to their daily timetable, ensuring they carry only what is necessary.

Highlighting ongoing educational advancements, Ms Kohli discussed the shift towards dynamic teaching methodologies, including flipped classrooms, peer learning, and collaborative projects. She reassured parents about the school’s dedication to transparency and accountability, particularly regarding life skills training and the thoughtful structuring of examination papers. Parents were reminded that educational resources and helpful videos are regularly uploaded to Moodle for their convenience. 

The launch of the Reader’s Club was announced, aimed at fostering a love for reading among students. The Principal also urged parents to utilise the school’s bus service, which plays a crucial role in maintaining discipline and safety outside school grounds. Additionally, plans for the phased renovation of washroom facilities were shared.
