For little Saanvi Pilania, a Class 2 student at Apeejay School, Noida, learning is an adventure filled with spelling challenges, graceful Kathak moves, and thrilling tennis matches. From excelling in academics to bagging top prizes in competitions, Saanvi’s school journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Her father, Mr. Ankit Pilania, takes us through her eventful year, sharing insights into her favourite subjects, extracurricular interests, and how Apeejay has provided the perfect environment for her growth. Saanvi seems to be excelling in many areas! How was her year in Class 1?
It was an exciting and eventful year! She actively participated in inter-house and inter-class competitions, winning multiple awards. She also qualified for Level 4 of the international Spellbee and stood first in a tennis competition. Overall, she’s had a great balance of academics and extracurriculars.
What subjects and activities interest her the most?
Saanvi enjoys all her subjects, but she has a particular flair for English, as seen in her Spellbee achievements. She also loves dance—she has taken up Kathak—and enjoys creative activities. Academically, she does well in Mathematics and Hindi too.
How has the school environment contributed to her progress?
Apeejay Noida provides a nurturing space where teachers treat students like their own children. Her class teacher has been exceptional in guiding her. The school’s spacious playgrounds and diverse extracurricular options ensure an all-round learning experience.
As a parent, how do you feel about the school’s teaching and engagement?
The teachers pay close attention to every child’s development. During PTMs, they discuss even the smallest progress points, showing their keen involvement. The school ensures a comfortable environment where children grow with confidence.
Any special moments from her school journey that stand out to you?
Her excitement after winning first place in tennis was a big moment! Also, the way her teachers remember and share small but meaningful incidents from the classroom shows their deep connection with the students. That’s what makes Apeejay special for us!
