When Aparna Choudhary first stepped onto the Apeejay School, Noida, she carried the quiet apprehension every parent knows well — will my child be understood, encouraged, and truly seen here? Today, several years later, that leap of faith has turned into complete conviction. In this candid conversation, she opens up about what drew her to the school, the moments that won her trust, and why she believes Apeejay has given her children far more than just an education.

What were your considerations before choosing Apeejay School, Noida for your child?

My main expectation was that the concepts should be clear for my kids on their own. I shouldn’t have to sit and clear the concepts myself at home. Along with that, I was looking for personality development, confidence building, and strong involvement in extracurricular activities. I can happily say all of this has been fulfilled. My son is doing really well, and I’m genuinely happy with how things have turned out.

How did you select Apeejay School—was it through word of mouth or the school’s reputation?

It was my husband who suggested the school. I simply followed his recommendation. I’m glad I did, because if the experience hadn’t been good, I would have changed schools by now.

Do you feel the school’s approach to holistic development and extracurricular activities meets your expectations?

It has actually exceeded my expectations. We chose Apeejay because of its strong focus on extracurricular activities and the emphasis it places on a child’s personality and confidence, not just academics.

Do you think your children genuinely enjoy participating in these activities?

Absolutely. It’s not just a case of me sending him passively. He actively participates. When he comes home, he tells me everything about what happened during the day and what activities they took part in. That excitement to learn feels like we made a good decision.

What kind of personal development have you noticed in your children over the past few years?

The biggest change I’ve seen is in their confidence. I have seen how my son can now speak confidently in assembly. In the beginning, I had to push a little and stay in close touch with his teachers, who were incredibly supportive and kept guiding me throughout. Today, he participates in performances and activities on his own. He gets opportunities to speak at assemblies in the pre-primary section as well.

Do you feel the school provides a safe environment, both in terms of communication with staff and overall security?

Yes, very much so. Whenever there’s been a concern, I’ve been able to speak directly with the teachers or relevant staff. They’ve always been cooperative. Over the past few years, I have had a few minor concerns, as any parent would, but the school has consistently listened and resolved them.

How would you describe the school’s infrastructure — washrooms, classrooms, hygiene standards?

This was actually something that impressed me even before admission. When I visited, I noticed the washrooms were thoughtfully designed for junior students, with separate seating and washbasins suited to their convenience. Everything was clean and well-maintained, including the classrooms and furniture.
