For Dr Rekha Rani, Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri is a familiar part of family life. Her two elder daughters studied here and have gone on to be successful, and now her youngest, Mayra, is a Class 7 student at the school. With years of association behind her, Dr Rani talks about why she chose the school for all her daughters, the teachers she values, and the things she believes the school gets right.

Why did you choose Apeejay School for your daughters?

I have two elder daughters who also studied here, and both are successful today. I have been associated with Apeejay for many years. I don’t think there is any school better than Apeejay in our surroundings. The quality of education is very good, and so is the methodology. The teachers deal with the students very well, and I like their way of teaching.

Do you feel the teachers communicate well with the students?

Yes, they do. The students understand what is taught, and the teachers connect well with them in the classroom. The school offers many of the things that a parent hopes their child will receive. That is something I truly value. It has been a gift to our family.

Do you feel your daughter is safe at school?

Yes, I am completely satisfied. I can’t say there are any concerns about safety. Discipline in the classroom is also better. I have no complaints on that front.

Does the school communicate with parents on time about events and trips?

Yes, I receive timely information about everything, whether it is the winter carnival or a trip. There has never been any issue with communication.

When you have a concern, do the teachers listen and help?

Absolutely. I haven’t faced any difficulty in this regard. All the teachers are cooperative, and everyone is doing a good job.

What changes have you seen in Mayra’s personality over the years?

Myra has been with Apeejay from the very beginning of her schooling. I have seen her grow in many ways. She appears to be a serious child on the outside, but she is smart. The school has given her an environment in which that quiet intelligence can develop.
