The Halloween celebration at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, was not just about costumes and candies; rather, it was a fun-filled learning experience that promoted creativity, confidence, and public speaking among Class II students. The celebration provided a platform for children to express themselves, explore their imagination, and learn the value of teamwork and joy in shared experiences.

The classrooms came alive with excitement as students walked in dressed as their favourite Halloween characters from spooky witches and friendly ghosts to charming fairies, fierce vampires, and brave superheroes. The atmosphere was festive and filled with laughter, setting the tone for a day brimming with enthusiasm and cheer.

The celebration began with an energetic ‘trick or treat’ round. Students exchanged candies, wished each other a cheerful “Happy Halloween,” and enjoyed the joy of giving and sharing. This was followed by an engaging show-and-tell activity where each child introduced their character, describing who they were, what made them unique, and why they chose them.

It was delightful to witness the young learners display remarkable confidence as they spoke expressively, embodying their chosen characters through dramatic gestures and vivid storytelling. Their performances not only reflected their creativity but also their ability to communicate effectively and think imaginatively.

Teachers appreciated the students’ efforts, noting how the event encouraged essential life skills such as self-expression, stage confidence, and creative thinking. The blend of learning and festivity made the celebration both enjoyable and meaningful.

The event concluded with smiles, cheers, and a lively group photograph, a perfect way to capture the spooky yet joyful spirit of Halloween. For the Class II students, it was a day that beautifully combined fun with learning, leaving lasting memories of laughter, imagination, and togetherness
