Mukti Arora is a homemaker while her husband Rajiv Arora is a businessman. Their son Ayaan is a class 7 student at Apeejay School, Model Town and their daughter, Gunisha Arora, is also an alumnus of the same school. In a brief interview, Mrs. Arora  highlights why the entire family adores Apeejay Model Town as a school. Edited excerpts:

Why did you choose Apeejay Model Town for the admission of both your children?

For us, this school is the best. In fact, many members from my husband’s family and some of his friends have all studied here. The school is known for its high quality education it provides to all its students. The school staff always listens to the feedback of parents. We wanted our kids to also receive the same.

Please tell us a bit about Ayaan and take us through his progress at school?

Ayaan likes to study English the most at school. He loves to play cricket and football. He is a batsman, actually an all-rounder. He also plays cricket at an academy nearby. Ayaan is a very well-mannered child who learns very quickly.

Are the teachers engaging well with the students?

The teachers are very good and they are teaching really well. I have no complaints. I am totally satisfied. Ayaan tells me that Sakshi ma’am, their incharge, who teaches them Science is a lovely teacher. All the students listen to her class with full interest and concentration.

What is the best thing about the school?

Everything about the school is really nice. I don’t see anything problematic. But in case, we as parents face any issue, we can freely discuss it with the school authorities. They patiently and actively listen to our feedback – value them and that is the best thing about Apeejay Model Town. Luckily, by Ayaan’s batch the school also became functional up to class 12. Ayaan is happy to complete his 10+2 also from here.

How has the experience of the online classes been for your child?

It was very good. The classes would happen properly. The teachers would come to the online class timely. It all went like a physical school, be it the classwork or homework. The teachers gave their full efforts. Many schools faced some or the other problems during the online classes but not Apeejay Model Town. It seamlessly shifted to online teaching and learning.

Is Ayaan happy to be back at the school building?

Yes, he is so happy to be back at school. He is really enjoying the present.
