Celebrating academic excellence, Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, students share their inspiring stories of discipline, determination, and strong support systems that enabled them to succeed in Class VI. Meet Priyanshi, Pratishtha and Parag Chahar from academic year 2025-26. In candid interviews, the students, who are now in Class VII, share their success mantra.

Priyanshi, sharing her exam journey, said that she enjoyed learning Math and Science the most. “Math has so many beautiful subtractions and operations, and I really enjoyed solving them. Science also interests me because of things like the reaction of chemicals and complicated circuits, which I really liked. I did not face any problem in understanding these subjects. Our Science teacher told us so many things and even shared extra information. “His teaching ensures everything sticks in our minds, allowing us to remember easily,” she stated, adding her interest in arts, crafts, and sports, especially cricket, kho-kho, and chess.

One subject that proved a little difficult for her was Sanskrit. “However, the teachers always helped me whenever I had a doubt. Even in tests, if I got one or two marks less, they told me why it was incorrect and how I should correct it. During exams, I studied for three to five hours a day with full focus. Thereafter, I would play or do some sketching, ensuring that I appeared for the exam with a fresh mind,” she said.

Pratishtha, who enjoys reading storybooks, drawing, indulging in creative activities and outdoor games with her friends and spending time with her family, said, “The key to my success is regular study, discipline, and always trying my best. I also believe in learning from my mistakes and staying positive.”

Her teachers always supported her by explaining topics clearly and helping whenever she had doubts. “They encouraged me to do better and guided me in both studies and activities. I found Mathematics a little challenging at first, but I practised regularly, asked my teacher for help, and solved extra questions. Slowly, I improved and became more confident,” she added.

Parag, who loves to play cricket and prefers to bat, shared, “My study strategy was to listen carefully to the teachers in the class and read all the chapters carefully. During the exam, my teachers told me not to worry and to do my best, and my parents also supported me.”

He found Social Studies to be a challenging subject. To tackle it, he would first read the chapter and then the questions at the back. Hence, his advice to his juniors was, ‘Listen to the teachers carefully and make short notes so that you can learn the chapter in a more organised manner,” he said in conclusion.
