Recently, Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, witnessed an electrifying atmosphere as it organised the Inter-house Badminton Tournament for the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 Boys categories. The tournament showcased an exciting blend of speed, skill, determination, and sportsmanship, leaving both participants and spectators thrilled throughout the event.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome to Mr AK Sharma, Principal of the school, and Ms Loveleen Bagga, Vice-principal, whose gracious presence added enthusiasm and encouragement to the occasion. The opening ceremony set the tone for the tournament as students gathered with great excitement and competitive spirit.
Addressing the participants, the Principal motivated the students to play with honesty, confidence, discipline, and unity. He highlighted the importance of sports in shaping character, building resilience, and encouraging teamwork among young learners. The Vice-principal also inspired the students with her encouraging words and emphasised how sports contribute significantly to physical fitness, leadership qualities, and overall personality development.

Powerful smashes, swift footwork, strategic rallies, and nail-biting moments kept the audience engaged and cheering enthusiastically for their respective houses.
