Excellent academic results often mirror the way students approach their work each day. Regular effort, clear concepts, and a steady mindset during exams tend to make a difference. Gradually, this way of working builds both skill and self-belief. Meet three such students from Apeejay School, Kharghar (academic year 2025-26): Vihang Londhe, Vansh Mestry, and Aarav Ingawale.

In a candid interview, the students share how they followed a consistent routine and stuck to a fixed timetable, which helped them manage their studies better.

Vihang shared that he managed his studies through proper time management. “I studied according to the time I had allocated to each subject, and during that time I focused only on that subject. “This helped me stay disciplined and cover everything properly,” the now Class VII student said.

Math was one subject that became challenging for him. Earlier he found it easy, but during the year it started to feel difficult. However, whenever he had doubts, he asked his teacher to address them. He also practised various sums daily.

“To handle time and pressure, I followed my schedule strictly and also did sports and mindfulness activities, which helped me stay calm. My teachers played a very important role in my preparation. My Science teacher, guided us to read the textbook thoroughly, which helped me a lot in tests,” he added.

Vansh is most proud of his hard work, which paid off in the form of good marks. “I also felt happy that I was able to attempt all my papers confidently. I was fortunate to have very supportive teachers for all my subjects, which made my studies easier. They guided me not only in academics but also helped me maintain a balance between studies and sports. My mother also supported me a lot, especially with revisions,” he said.

He set daily study targets and followed a fixed timetable during study leave and exams. “This helped me manage my time well, and I still got time to watch TV and play, which kept my mind fresh. Achieving these daily targets motivated me to do better every day. Initially, Social Studies and English felt difficult, so I gave them more time, read the textbooks carefully, and revised multiple times,” he recounted.

Aarav’s study strategy was also to stay consistent and follow a daily timetable. “I divided my time between understanding concepts, revising regularly, and practising questions. Whenever I started a new chapter, I first read it thoroughly to get a basic understanding, which made learning easier for me later,” this now Class VII student said.

To stay focused while studying at home, he followed a fixed study time from 5pm to 8pm and avoided distractions. This helped me concentrate better and use my time effectively. My teachers supported and guided us by explaining concepts clearly, and their regular feedback and encouragement helped me improve my performance over time,” he stated, and added that he would also like to express his heartfelt appreciation for his mother, who played a very important role in helping him with his studies.
