Schools support their students by providing a nurturing and structured environment that balances learning with creativity and play. “We chose Apeejay School, Noida, because we wanted a school where our daughter would feel happy, safe, and confident. From the very beginning, we felt that the school focuses not only on academics but also on values, discipline, and emotional well-being, which is very important for us as parents,” shares Silky Goyal, whose daughter, Shivya, studies in Class II here.

Read on to know how co-curricular activities like art, music, sports, and group projects foster teamwork, communication skills, and creativity.

How are the teachers supporting primary kids?

The teachers are extremely caring and understanding. They are very patient with young children and make them feel comfortable in class. My daughter feels free to ask questions and share her thoughts, which shows the trust she has in her teachers. Their regular feedback helps us support her better at home.

Which best practices do they use?

The teachers use creative and activity-based methods that make learning enjoyable for the children. Through stories, activities, and class discussions, concepts become easy for my daughter to understand and remember. Learning never feels like a burden for her.

How is the pedagogy structured?

The teaching approach is very child-friendly and well planned. Concepts are introduced simply and gradually built upon. The focus is on understanding rather than rote learning, which has helped my daughter become more confident in her studies.

Which extracurricular activities boost her personality?

Activities like dance, art, music, storytelling, and sports have helped my daughter become more expressive and confident. She enjoys participating in these activities and looks forward to school every day, which makes us very happy as parents.

How do you handle her studies at home?

At home, we follow a relaxed routine. We help her with homework, encourage reading, and revise concepts in a fun way without pressure. We try to make learning a positive experience so that she remains curious and happy while studying.
