Which techniques do teachers use here for junior students?
During online sessions we could see that the teachers took tremendous efforts to show and tell methods of teaching which made the concepts very clear at a young age. Phonics was also a very easy and fun way to inculcate early reading among the kids. Theme based class activities and excursions give the kids real life experiences thus further reinforcing the concepts.
What are the core strength areas of Apeejay School, Nerul?
Living by its legacy of academic excellence, having a visionary leadership committee supported by excellent teachers / mentors and a rich innovative curriculum with various special programmes designed such that not only scholastic skills but other social and life skills are developed.
How is the school environment?
School environment is very conducive to stress free, holistic learning. The school ensures development of a strong sense of community ethics through value education programs and cultural inclusiveness brings harmony. We can see focus on inter school and international events portraying a progressive global outlook, thus honing the collaborative skills which are imperative for building strong personalities and securing a bright future.
Which infrastructure facilities are children friendly?
The AV rooms and introduction of LED screens in classrooms are excellent measures for young students to visualise and learn the concepts with ease. Having designated spaces for special classes further makes learning fun and breaks the monotony of confined classroom learning.
How are the safety protocols for young children?
School is extremely cautious of student’s safety as we can see that students are always escorted in the premises and all staff are wary of the safety protocols.
