Physical education remains a key focus area for student development at Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad. The school’s morning sports programme for students of Classes VI to XI reflects this approach, where regular participation in sports is encouraged as part of the daily routine.

Students are given the freedom to choose activities based on their interests. This allows them to stay engaged while developing skills in their chosen discipline. Over time, this structure also supports physical fitness, builds discipline, and encourages teamwork among students.

The school views sports as closely linked to overall well-being. A balanced focus on both physical and mental health remains central to its educational approach.

Students excel at Prometheus Swimming Championship

This focus on sports found reflection in recent student achievements at the Prometheus Swimming Championship held in Noida recently. Students from the school delivered notable performances across categories.

Shreyas of Class III A secured a Gold Medal in the 50m Butterfly and a Silver Medal in the 50m Freestyle. He also earned the Championship Trophy in the Under-12 category. His performance highlighted consistency and strong preparation at a competitive level.

Sanvi of Class VI A added to the achievement by securing a Bronze Medal in the 100m Butterfly in the Under-12 category. Her performance reflected steady progress and competitive spirit.

These results point to the role of structured sports programmes in shaping student outcomes. Regular practice, guided participation, and student interest appear to work together in building both skill and confidence.

What this suggests is clear. When schools create space for physical activity within daily routines, the impact often extends beyond campus. Students carry these experiences into competitive platforms, where discipline and perseverance begin to show in measurable ways.

As schools continue to explore holistic development, such outcomes highlight the long-term value of integrating sports into everyday learning.
