CBSE Class 10 Phase 2 Boards 2026: Schedule announced

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the schedule for the Class 10 Phase 2 Board exams 2026. These exams are set to be conducted from May 15 to June 1, 2026, offering students a valuable opportunity to improve their scores in select subjects after the declaration of Phase 1 results.

As per the released datesheet, the exam process will commence on May 15 with Mathematics (Standard and Basic). This will be followed by compartment subject exams on May 16 and May 18. The Science (086) exam is scheduled for May 19, after which additional compartment exams will continue on May 20 and May 21. Social Science (087) will be held on May 22, followed by further compartment exams on May 23 and May 25. 

Language papers are slated for May 26 and May 30, while compartment subject exams will also take place on May 28 and May 29. The exam cycle will conclude on June 1, 2026, with the final set of compartment subject tests.

Students who appeared in the Phase 1 Boards are eligible to register for Phase 2, provided they wish to improve their performance in up to three subjects, including Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and languages. Additionally, students who were placed in the compartment category in the current or previous academic session (2025) are also eligible to apply.

However, candidates who failed to appear in three or more subjects during the Phase 1 exams will not be permitted to sit for Phase 2.
