For Mr Vikram Batra, Apeejay School is not just an institution – it is a lifelong companion. An alumnus, a parent, and someone whose extended family has been associated with Apeejay School, Model Town, and Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg for decades, his journey reflects the deep-rooted trust generations place in the Apeejay legacy. Today, as his son Sameer Batra studies in Class 6B at Apeejay School, Model Town, the circle feels complete.
Read edited excerpts:

As an alumnus, what drew you back to Apeejay School, Model Town for your child?
Choosing Apeejay School was instinctive. My entire family – my sister, cousins from both my mother’s and father’s sides have studied here, and now even their children are part of the same school. Apeejay School feels like a second family.
How has the school evolved since your student days?
The change is very visible. The education pattern has become more advanced and alert to what children need today. The school updates itself regularly in line with government reforms and modern education systems. Because of this, children are learning in a more practical, informed, and progressive environment.

What does it feel like to return to the same campus as a parent?
It’s a feeling of immense pride. Dropping my children to school, attending their annual functions, and watching them participate in activities brings back so many memories. I often tell them, “This was my classroom, this was my library.” Even more special is meeting old friends whose children now study alongside mine.
What core values do you believe Apeejay has upheld over the years?
Adaptability and consistency. While principals and management have changed, the school has continuously upgraded itself with time. That commitment to growth, without losing its foundation, is what makes Apeejay stand out. Word-of-mouth trust matters more than publicity, and Apeejay has earned that trust.
How do you see Apeejay’s role in shaping students today?
We live in a country where learning never stops. When schools evolve with changing times, it directly impacts children’s academic and personal development. At Apeejay, this change is visible not just in academics, but also in activities and overall learning outcomes.
