As lakhs of students prepare for NEET UG 2026, two parallel developments have drawn attention. The admit card release is expected shortly, even as authorities move to counter misinformation about a possible paper leak.

According to recent updates, the National Testing Agency is likely to release the NEET UG 2026 admit card soon on its official website. While an exact date has not been formally announced, candidates have already received their exam city intimation slips. The admit card remains a mandatory document for entry to the examination centre, scheduled for early May.

At the same time, the NTA has issued a warning regarding claims circulating online about a NEET question paper leak. The agency has clarified that such reports are false and misleading. It has urged students not to engage with or share unverified information being spread through social media and messaging platforms.

Officials have emphasised that all official updates will be communicated only through verified NTA channels. Students have been advised to remain focused on their preparation and avoid distractions caused by rumours. Authorities are also monitoring the spread of misinformation and may take action against those responsible.

The developments come in the final stretch before the exam, a period often marked by heightened anxiety among candidates. Clear communication from the testing agency is intended to maintain transparency and prevent confusion. Students are also being encouraged to regularly check the official website to avoid missing critical announcements or updates.

With the exam date approaching, attention now shifts to the timely release of the admit card and smooth conduct of the test.
