Meet Ayan Faisal, a class V student at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, who has a deep love for both drawing and writing. His creative spirit shines through in his art, while his newfound passion for writing allows him to express his thoughts vividly. Ayan is also a huge fan of Doraemon and can watch the show on a loop. Tell us about yourself.

I enjoy crafting creative articles and have a passion for playing football. Writing fuels my imagination, while football energizes my spirit

How do you feel being selected as scholar journalist of the week for the first time?

I feel incredibly happy to have submitted my first article and been selected for the scholar of the week. I’m on top of the world! This platform offers a fantastic opportunity for me to explore, learn, and write more, fueling my passion for writing.

Who is your role model?

My parents are my role models. They inspire me with their strength, kindness, and unwavering support in everything I opt to do.

What was your process of researching and writing?

I began by researching the topic. I jotted down whatever came to mind, allowing my thoughts to flow freely. I crafted the entire piece independently, trusting my instincts and creativity to guide me through the writing process.

Have you faced any challenges while writing the article? How did you overcome them?

I wrote the entire piece on my own, but I encountered some difficulties with spelling. For this, I sought my mother’s help and used Google for guidance.
