Apeejay School, Noida hosts AI showcase celebrating student research and ideas leading to learning

Recently, Apeejay School, Noida, hosted the AI Club Culmination Showcase Ceremony for the session 2025–26, marking the completion of a yearlong student-led initiative. The event brought together students, educators, alumni and industry experts, reflecting how young learners are engaging with artificial intelligence with both curiosity and intent.

The Artificial Intelligence and Minds (AIM) Club, launched on July 28, 2025, was introduced to nurture future-ready learners and encourage innovation through structured exploration of AI. Over the year, students worked on projects, engaged in discussions and developed an understanding of how technology can be applied thoughtfully in real-world contexts.

The ceremony commenced with a tribute to Dr Stya Paul, Founder-Chairman, Apeejay Stya and Svran Group; gratitude to Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education; and Dr Neha Berlia, Co-Owner and Director (Family Business Board), Apeejay Stya and Svran Group, Lead-Education Vertical, Office Bearer, Apeejay Education, Member of the Apeejay Stya and Svran Group, and Pro-Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University, for their continued guidance and support.

Voices from industry and academia

The event was graced by an eminent panel of judges, including Mr Paramjit Pathania, IIM Ahmedabad alumnus and Associate Director, Cyber Security, Accenture; Ms Amrita Anuragi, AI and Data Science mentor; and Mr Manish Gurnani, CTO at KSolves India Limited and a proud alumnus of the school.

Among the guests were Mr Aayush Srivastava and Mr Rohit Singh Negi, AI Coordinators, Apeejay Education Society, along with Mr Chandradev Pandey, Batch of 2016, Computer Science Engineer and former Full Stack Developer at Tata Consultancy Services. Director-Principal Dr Neha Sharma presented them with mementoes as a token of appreciation.

In her welcome address, Dr Sharma encouraged students to use AI with a questioning approach, urging them to verify and apply their understanding responsibly.

A key highlight of the event was the Fireside Chat on the theme AI: The best teacher we have built to stay future-ready or the reason we may forget how to learn? The discussion saw active participation from students and panelists,, including the Director-Principal, creating space for diverse perspectives on the evolving role of AI in education.

Showcasing student work and achievements

A short film on the AIM Club journey highlighted the progress made by students, showcasing their projects, teamwork and learning outcomes across the year.

Students also presented AI-based projects addressing real-world challenges. Winning teams were awarded certificates, and all club members were recognised for their contributions. Samriddhi Yadav of Class XII B and Mannat Sharma of Class XII A were acknowledged for publishing research papers, reflecting the academic depth of the initiative.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving students with a clear direction. The focus now shifts to continuing this engagement with AI through responsible use, deeper inquiry and a willingness to keep learning as the field evolves.
