Everybody has a place they dream of visiting once, and my dream is to go on a vacation to Hawaii. It is the largest island in the USA. I hope someday I will get a chance to fulfil my dream.
There are numerous incredible wonderlands to see in the world. Travelling is my passion. I love to travel to places I have never been to before and like to experience and explore new things. Since I am a big foodie and I love to taste the cultural food of other countries, I wish to enjoy my dream vacation with my family, spend quality time with them, and cherish every moment.
I have heard a lot about Hawaii. The Hawaiian Islands were formed by volcanic activity. Hawaii is known for its natural beauty – beautiful beaches, breathtaking landscapes, picture-perfect weather, and clear waters; some of them with unusual colours. Many beaches are filled with white sand, but other Hawaiian shores are covered with green, red, pink, and even black sand. It also has the greatest number of endangered species.

Hawaii is typically recognised by its eight main islands–Hawaiʻi, Maui, Kahoʻolawe, Lānaʻi, Molokaʻi, Oʻahu, Kauaʻi, and Niʻihau. English and Hawaiian are the official languages of Hawaii.

This place has the most isolated population centre on Earth: It’s about 2,400 miles from the Mainland U.S., the closest landmass. Because of that, it has its own time zone, Hawaii Standard Time, and does not observe daylight saving time.

Hawaii is also known as the “Island of Adventure”. One can do surfing, ziplining, hiking, snorkelling, helicopter riding, horseback riding, swimming with turtles, scuba diving, whale watching, parasailing, and see the volcanic crater, etc.

Hawaii’s state flower is the yellow Hibiscus; the state bird is Nene. The state fish: is Humuhumunukunukuapuaa. The state mammal is Hawaiian monk sea.

On the other hamd the state marine mammal is Humpback whale, followed by the land mammal which is Hawaiian Hoary bat; and finally the state tree: is Kukui.
There are plenty of celebrities who were born in Hawaii including former President Barack Obama; AOL co-founder Steve Case; dancer/choreographer Carrie Ann Inaba; singer/actress Aulii Cravalho; vocalists Bruno Mars, actor Jason Momoa and sports star Michelle Wie.

Dozens of movies have been filmed in Hawaii, including these Academy Award winners: From Here to Eternity (1953), South Pacific (1958), Tora! Tora! Tora! (1970), Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), Jurassic Park (1993), Avatar (2009) and The Descendants (2011).

Staying in Hawaii must be like living in paradise. Between the soft sandy beaches, swaying palm trees and picture-perfect sunsets there’s no denying that living in Hawaii must be heavenly and a dream come true.

I always fantasise about waking up to a panoramic view of an island. Whenever I may visit to Hawaii, I will stay in a resort that offer me such accommodation so I can have direct access to the island. Going to Hawaii is the perfect vacation I’ve always fantasised about, and I hope to make it happen someday.
