Young Talent: ‘I want to become an IAS officer and serve my country’

The student from Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg feels a happy mind resides in a healthy body

Reading and learning did the trick for this young genius who got promoted to class VI recently with flying colours. “I am elated to see that my hard work finally yield a sweet fruit. I am truly feeling very nice,” Saanvi Aggarwal said. This student at Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg also shares that Math is her most favourite subject.

“After scoring so well in my last exam I am going to work harder and push myself more. Math as a subject is really beguiling. I love the way numbers mix and match themselves to form amazing symmetrical results. It all feels so enchanting,” the 10-year-old said and added that her favourite teacher is Ms Garima Midha.

“She teaches Hindi. Moreover the best part about school is – that it is like a second home for me. I absolutely love going to school,” expressed Saanvi.

So what is your favourite book and movie? “I watch a lot of motivational movies and read novels. My favourite movie is Sam Bahadur, I am quite enthralled by this real-life character. And the last book that I loved reading was Matilda by Roald Dahl. The story was so thrilling and captivating,” shared the young one.

“These days I am learning two activities – dance and badminton. Both of these activities have built a great level of confidence and will power in me, it genuinely feels as if I have grown as a better person,” Saanvi shared excitedly.

On a concluding note, Saanvi shared her daily routine. “During the days I have to go to school, I wake up by 6 am. And get ready for school. I come back by 2 pm and eat my lunch and finish my homework and revise my lessons. Then I go out to play and after coming back I have my dinner and finally sleep by 10 pm.”
