Young Leaders take charge at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park

The Investiture Ceremony of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, was held with great pride and dignity, marking the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council. The ceremony served as an important milestone in the school calendar, aiming to instil leadership qualities, responsibility, and a sense of commitment among young learners entrusted with key roles.

The programme began on an auspicious note with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising the dispelling of ignorance and the pursuit of knowledge. The serene ambience was further enhanced by a soulful shloka and a graceful devotional dance performance, setting a spiritual and reflective tone for the event.

The gathering was then addressed by the Principal, Swapna Nair, who inspired the newly appointed council members to lead with integrity, dedication, and a strong sense of duty. In her motivating address, she emphasised that leadership is not merely about holding a position but about setting an example through actions and values. She encouraged students to uphold the ethos of the institution while working collaboratively for the betterment of the school community.

One of the most striking moments of the ceremony was the disciplined and synchronised march of the Student Council members onto the stage. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Shounak Bhattacharyya, Deputy Director General at the Directorate General of Army Air Defence. In his address, he congratulated the council members on their achievement and encouraged them to lead with courage, discipline, and a positive outlook. He urged them to contribute meaningfully to the school environment and to inspire others through their conduct and dedication.
