How did you feel after winning so many prizes?

I felt on cloud 9 after receiving those prizes at the annual day celebration. When my name was called out and I reached the stage, that moment filled me up with so much pride and joy. I wish to etch this moment in my heart forever. I am also thankful to my teachers who prepared and groomed me so well to ultimately become deserving for these prizes.

Describe the events you participated in.

I took part in several events and won prizes in 3 categories. First was the dance competition where I got the first prize. I performed a Marathi folk dance. Next, I bagged the second prize in poem recitation and singing competition. I narrated a poem titled – Mother Earth. Finally for the singing competition, I sang the song – Aigiri Nandini, the famous Hindu religious stotram.

Who has been your inspiration behind such talent?

First and foremost, my biggest inspiration is my mother who has passed on such talent to me. Next are my teachers who have been my constant source of push and motivation to keep excelling and exploring various art forms. They helped me find my calling by providing me with a stable platform.

What are your dreams and aspirations?

I want to become a doctor when I grow up because I find some miraculous comfort in treating others by taking away their pain and ailments.

What is your favourite food?

I mostly prefer home-cooked food made by my mother. My most favourite dishes are dal-rice, chapati sabzi. I don’t like to eat junk food so much.

What are your favourite parts of studies?

I love dictation a lot. And reading sentences is something that intrigues me. I feel elated each time I score a star and good marks in my dictation tests.
