Apeejay School of Architecture and Planning recently hosted an event in collaboration with Prem Jain Memorial Trust (PJMT) on the topic “Water and Energy Relationship and Aspiration”. The session was moderated by Sandeep Narang and Sandeep Goel was the master speaker.

The talk began with Sandeep Narang highlighting the need for the conservation of energy and water in our daily lives, and other agendas of PJMT. Sandeep Goel went on to talk about a scientific study on the optimum use of water for daily requirements without compromising sanitation and human happiness.

Keeping in mind the current scenario of the market, the speaker further informed the audience about the latest available technological innovations that could be implemented in ongoing pilot projects.

The interesting talk ended with a Q&A session in which the speakers stressed the need for behavioural changes in young minds and the close relationship between architecture and the need for respecting water as a resource.

Making the event more vibrant, the architecture students of second and third years also presented a nukkad natak on the “Eradication of Single-use Plastic”.

The event came to a close with a prize distribution for various events and a formal vote of thanks to the eminent speakers.

“There is a need to respect water as a resource. Optimum use of water is the need of the hour, and we need to make the best use of all available technological innovations.”
