Tiny tots showcase creativity via thematic projects

Pre-primary students of Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, engage in hands-on learning experiences during summer break

Thematic projects are a means of experiential learning, providing a holistic and educational experience for students. These projects involve hands-on activities, individual research, and presenting their findings in unique and creative ways. Through this approach, the students engage with the subject matter on a practical level, gaining a deeper understanding and connection with the world around them.

During the summer break, the pre-primary students of Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, had the chance to showcase their boundless creativity and enthusiasm. Engaging in thematic projects both at home and outside, these young learners embarked on a competency-based learning journey.

The display of the thematic projects by the tiny tots received much appreciation from all the guests. Mr. Rudrendra Basak, Principal of Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, praised the students and emphasised the importance of education as a lifelong journey. He stated, “Understanding the world and connecting with it on a practical level is vital, and any tool that aids and supports this process, such as project work, is fundamental.”

The display showcased the students’ creative talents and their ability to explore and learn through hands-on experiences. The projects highlighted their research, critical thinking, and presentation skills, allowing them to express their understanding in innovative ways. The students’ dedication and effort were evident in each project, reflecting their enthusiasm for learning.

The principal, teachers, and parents were impressed by the quality and depth of the projects, acknowledging the students’ growth and development through this experiential learning approach. The event served as a platform for the students to showcase their newfound knowledge and skills, fostering their confidence and sense of achievement.

By engaging in thematic projects, the tiny tots not only gained subject-specific knowledge but also cultivated essential life skills such as research, communication, and problem-solving. Overall, these projects served as a valuable tool in their educational journey, instilling a love for learning through experience and experimentation.
