Dealing with nursery students requires a lot of patience, understanding, and creativity. “The teachers here use visual aids like pictures, charts, and posters to communicate instructions and concepts effectively. Such strategies help my child to understand and remember information better,” expresses Khushbu Goel whose son Kathansh studies in nursery at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri.

Excerpts from the interview

Why did you select Apeejay for your child?

The sole reason for choosing this school was that my brothers and sisters are alumni from this school. I am aware of the great credibility this school holds. Moreover, this school is in proximity to our home too. I want my child to study in the best school of Charkhi Dadri.

How are the teachers here?

My son, Kathansh is in the nursery at present, so it’s not been a long time since I have interacted with the staff here. Though so far, my experience has been mostly with one teacher who is really supportive and professional.

How are the facilities and infrastructure here?

Both infrastructure and the facilities here are wonderful without a doubt. The furniture inside the classrooms and the general look of the school is well-maintained and clean. I am satisfied as a parent so far.

Does Kathansh enjoy school?

My child was already trained to stay away from me at a crèche. So he is absolutely comfortable if he doesn’t see me for a few hours. His training at the crèche is really helpful for him to happily settle at the school and enjoys the time there.

What does your son enjoy at school?

There are activities like cut paste and colouring that he really loves to indulge into at school. Apart from that he is also getting familiarised with the alphabets and names of fruits and vegetables. He also likes to make curving lines, sleeping lines and tracing. He even enjoys eating lunch and playing with his friends at school.

What is your dream for your child?

My first priority is to tap into his real interest and potential. Once that is identified we will provide all the support – financially and morally so that he can move ahead and make a mark in that field.
