Apeejay students engage with global architects on urbanisation in Greater Noida

Budding architects embark on a journey towards sustainable cityscapes

In a recent programme organised by Apeejay Institute of Technology-School of Architecture and Planning (AIT-SAP) in Greater Noida, experts from the Embassy of Norway, MADE India, and the internationally acclaimed Norwegian architect, Ar. Erlend Blakstad Haffner, addressed budding architects about urbanisation. The event was held at AIT-SAP’s campus.

During the event, Haffner, a partner at Chap, Peter Cook & Erlend Blakstad Architects, shared his expertise in sustainable urban development and innovative architectural designs. The aim of the programme was to provide insights into urbanisation and its implications for modern cities, fostering a deeper understanding among the students.

Accompanying Ar. Erlend Blakstad Haffner were other esteemed individuals such as Ar. Deepak Gahlowt, Mr Dhruv Raj Singh, Ms Oliva Sartogo, Mr. Ashwini K Channan, Ms Devisha Singh, Ms Sophie Broughton, Ms Shivina Kumar, Ms Sophia De Simone, and Ms Maria Eltz. Their presence added depth and perspective to the discussion who shared their thoughts on recent trends in the field of architecture .

The programme served as a platform for students to engage with experts in the field and gain valuable insights into the complexities of urban development.
