Young Talent: ‘My parents are like the wind beneath my wings’

“I am blessed with the best of parents; they are my pillars of strength. They have been my constant rocks who have motivated and pushed me to achieve my greatest limits. They have never pressured me for studies or for good marks and that is the reason I want to make them proud,” expressed Krishiv Sharma, a 11-year-old who got recently promoted to class VI at Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg.

Upon prodding further, Krishiv asserts that Math is the easiest subject ever and it’s so surprising to know that many don’t like Math. “The way numbers play and jumble around to create newer results is so intriguing. Moreover, all the teachers at my school are awesome and I love all of them,” he said.

He loves to don a hat with many feathers. “I have learnt cricket, basketball, football and now learning swimming. My favourite cricketer is undoubtedly MS Dhoni. He is the undefeated champion. In football, I am a big Ronaldo fan,” asserted the class VI student. “During football I play at defense and attack positions,” he further added.

The young wizard names Avengers as his favourite movie and books written by Sudha Murty as his favourite genre. “I am absolutely in awe of my school. It has such a huge ground, ACs in classrooms, projectors in AV rooms. Everything is so brilliant,” he shared.

To conclude, Krishiv happily calls kulche-chana as his most favourite food. “I study and plan my schedule in a systematic manner. This way I am able to learn better and have time at hand to revise too. Finally, after scoring good marks, it’s always time to gorge on my favourite food without guilt.”
