She may be young but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have aspirations. “I always believe in the three S theory: Strategy, systematic and sincerity whenever you feel stuck or aspire to achieve great heights in life,” opines Jianna Kaur, who has recently been promoted to class III in Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg.

“I am an extremely attentive listener and always paid extra attention to whatever my teachers taught me in the class. All my teachers teach me so well that I grasp all the subjects fast and later have to just revise them before the exams,” Jianna said and added that as of now all the subjects are her favourite but hits a roadblock when it comes to languages like Hindi and Punjabi.

The nine-year-old further shares that taking part in various extracurricular activities keeps her on her toes. “I love to perform freestyle dance on all Bollywood songs. Olympians are my second most favourite thing to do,” expressed the class III student. During her idle time, she loves to watch shows like Just Add Magic and Mystery Box. “Both shows are themed around magical fantasies which is so intriguing and enchanting,” Jianna shared.

“Though I am not such an avid reader, I will work on this and start reading books too. Two favourite teachers of mine are – Navdeep ma’am and Aman ma’am. They both keep coaxing me to start inculcating the habit of reading,” Jianna shared. At home, her mother and elder sister are her strongest support system.

“They both help me in my studies always. I am also a foodie and like to gorge on rajma-chawal, jeera aloo and palak paratha cooked by my mother,” she said in conclusion.
