What are the two best parts about the University?

The two things I value most about Apeejay Stya University are its learning environment and the opportunities it provides beyond academics. The University encourages students to explore their interests, participate in different activities and gain practical exposure. I also appreciate the supportive faculty and the overall environment, which motivates students to become more confident and career-oriented.

How does the University help you pursue your hobbies and goals?

Apeejay Stya University gives students the freedom and encouragement to explore their interests alongside academics. Through various events, activities, clubs and opportunities, I have been able to develop my confidence and communication skills while exploring my interests. At the same time, the academic and practical exposure provided by the university has helped me stay focused on my long-term career goals in the pharmaceutical industry.

How do teachers help you develop different skills?

My teachers have played an important role in both my academic and personal development. They encourage me to understand concepts rather than simply memorising them and give me opportunities to participate, ask questions and learn through practical experiences. Their guidance has helped me improve my communication, problem-solving, teamwork and professional skills. Their support has also given me the confidence to take on new challenges.

How has the University changed you as a person and added to your growth?

My journey at Apeejay Stya University has helped me become more confident, responsible and independent. When I joined the University, my focus was mainly on academics, but with time I learned the importance of communication, teamwork, practical exposure and taking initiative. The University has given me opportunities to step outside my comfort zone, which has contributed significantly to my overall personality and professional growth.

What new skills have you learned at Apeejay?

At Apeejay Stya University, I have developed several skills beyond my academic knowledge. These include communication, teamwork, presentation, time management, problem-solving and professional interaction. My practical laboratory experience has also strengthened my technical understanding of pharmaceutical analysis and helped me become more disciplined and detail-oriented.

Where were you interning, and how did you prepare for this offer?

I recently completed a two-month internship in the Analytical Development department at Sun Pharma. To prepare for this opportunity, I focused on strengthening my pharmaceutical fundamentals and gained a better understanding of analytical techniques, particularly HPLC and routine analytical testing. I also worked on improving my communication, discipline and professional approach. The academic foundation and practical exposure I received at Apeejay Stya University helped me feel confident while entering a professional pharmaceutical environment.

What are your future aspirations?

My long-term aspiration is to build a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry and contribute meaningfully to the field of drug development and quality. I want to continue learning, gain strong industry experience and develop expertise in pharmaceutical analysis and related areas. Eventually, I would like to take up leadership responsibilities where I can combine my technical knowledge with problem-solving and teamwork to make a positive contribution to the industry.
