Tiny Talents, Big Dreams: A colourful ode to creativity

In the heart of Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar a burst of creativity and joy unfolded on February 17, 2024, marking a day of jubilant celebration and imaginative display. The institution proudly hosted “Cosplay-A Fancy Dress and Talent Show,” an open event that brought together children and their mothers in a vibrant showcase of talent, themed around the world of advertisements. From toothbrushes and paste to Oreo cookies and Amul milk, the participants dove into the realm of creativity, transforming the day into a live canvas of iconic brands.

With over 80 entries, the event was a spectacle of enthusiasm and talent, as children, assisted by their parents, donned their costumes not just for fun but to convey the significance behind their chosen advertisements. The air was filled with the melodious voices of children singing, the rhythmic beats of solo dance performances, and the articulate speeches that displayed an incredible range of creativity and imagination.

The children’s performances were nothing short of phenomenal, each participant bringing their unique flair and zeal to the stage. Their eagerness to dress up and perform, coupled with the meticulous preparation they had put into their acts, was evident in every performance. The event not only served as a platform for showcasing talent but also as a learning experience, emphasizing the importance of creativity and expression from a young age.

Highlighting the event was the presence of Dr Sushma Chawla, a renowned gynaecologist, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. Her attendance added a touch of prestige to the event, inspiring both participants and attendees alike. The commendable efforts of the children were recognised with trophies awarded to eight standout performances from each group, while every participant was honoured with participating certificates and gifts, ensuring that each child was left with a sense of achievement and recognition.

The leadership and vision of Apeejay Education’s honourable Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Education, and Chancellor Apeejay Stya University were instrumental in the organisation of this memorable event. Under her guidance, Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld crafted an event that was not only entertaining but educational, fostering a sense of community and creativity among the participants.

The event was further supported by the esteemed presence of Mr Malkiat Singh, Principal of Apeejay School Model Town, along with the Headmistress of the Pre-primary section Ms Nidhi Ghai, Headmistress of the Primary section Ms Namrata Sharma, and the dedicated teachers of the school.
