Tell us a bit about your journey at Apeejay School and your academic achievements?
I’ve been with Apeejay School since nursery, and it’s been an incredible journey. At present, I’m in class XII, pursuing Commerce with Math. In the previous session, I achieved the second highest aggregate in my stream and scored the highest in Business Studies. Being involved in activities like MUNs and the prefectorial board has been enriching and has complimented my academic growth.

What study strategies and habits contributed to your success in class XI?
I don’t follow any rigid strategies, but consistency and discipline have been crucial. I believe quality matters more than quantity. You don’t need to study for long hours daily; instead, focus on making your study time effective. I used to study for one or two hours a day, increasing it during exams. Self-study and understanding core concepts, especially in challenging subjects like Accountancy, are key.
How did you handle challenging subjects like Accountancy and Math?
Accountancy was initially difficult because it was new to me, but mastering the basic concepts made it manageable. For Mathematics, practice is essential, especially as the difficulty level increases from class X to XI. Regular practice helped me overcome these challenges.
How did you balance your studies with extracurricular activities?
Balancing academics with extracurricular activities was crucial. I managed my time effectively, ensuring that I didn’t compromise on either. My daily routine involved focused study sessions and engaging in MUNs and school events. This balance was essential for my overall growth.
How did the support from your teachers at Apeejay School influence your academic performance?
The support from my teachers has been outstanding. They were always available to help with queries, whether through messages or face-to-face. They provided valuable worksheets and highlighted key concepts, making complex topics easier to understand.

What advice would you give to students aiming for academic success?
My advice is to stay consistent and be disciplined with your studies. There’s no need to study for extended hours; it’s more about making your study time productive. Balancing academics with extracurricular activities is important, so prioritise effectively and stay in touch with your studies.
What are plans and how do you view your time at Apeejay School?
I plan to pursue graduation from a reputed Delhi University college and then explore further options. My time at Apeejay School, Noida has been very fulfilling. The environment here supports both academic and extracurricular growth, and I’ve always felt that this is the right place for me. I never considered changing schools because of the excellent balance and support I received here.
