‘My son is thriving and enjoying school life’ 

Meet Ms Ekta Anand, mother of Class II student Jeevitesh studying at Apeejay Svran Global School, Sector 21-D, Faridabad. For her, the decision to choose this school was guided by its nurturing approach, strong academic support, and excellent teacher involvement. She appreciates how the school encourages creativity through co-curricular activities and ensures positive parent-teacher communication. 

In a candid interview, she shares her son’s overall growth since joining the school, among other things.

How has your son’s journey been with the school so far?

We enrolled Jeevitesh in Apeejay Global School in 2023. It has been close to two years now, and during this time, we have seen his adjustment to the school environment grow smoothly. He is comfortable and happy being a part of the school community.

How has he progressed since his admission?

He is doing very well academically. His basic concepts have become stronger, and the teachers make sure to explain everything patiently. We feel he has shown good improvement in confidence and overall learning since the time he joined.

What co-curricular activities does he enjoy?

He enjoys drawing the most. Whenever given a chance, he spends his time making creative sketches and colouring. We feel the school encourages this interest, allowing him to express himself beyond academics. 

Does he participate in sports or other activities?

Right now, his involvement in sports is limited, but he enjoys participating in school activities whenever they happen. We hope he will explore more alternatives as he grows in the coming years.

Do you attend events at school?

Yes, I attended the Grandparents’ Day celebration recently, where he also performed. Such events help children build stage confidence and create a closer bonding among students, parents, teachers, and the school environment. It’s a wonderful initiative.

How is the parent-teacher communication at the school?

The teachers are very supportive and approachable. Whenever parents have any questions or concerns, they respond well and try to solve them quickly. Their positive attitude makes us feel comfortable and respected as parents.

Your take on choosing this school.

I am happy with my decision because the school provides him with a supportive learning space. He is growing well and enjoying his school life, which matters the most to us. Moreso, the safety concerns are at an optimal level.
