A university position holder throughout her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Apeejay, she credits her teachers and clinical exposure for nurturing her confidence, communication and patient-handling skills. Today, she aspires to build a meaningful and fulfilling career in healthcare. 

Why did you choose Apeejay for your education? 

I chose Apeejay for my Bachelor of Physiotherapy because I wanted an institution that would provide me with a strong academic foundation as well as practical exposure.

Physiotherapy is a profession where theoretical knowledge needs to be complemented by clinical skills and communication with patients. Apeejay provided me with opportunities to learn from experienced teachers, gain practical knowledge, and develop confidence in dealing with different situations.

The supportive academic environment and guidance from my teachers have played an important role in shaping my journey as a physiotherapy student.

Your achievements in college and how have you grown  over the period of time? 

One of my proudest achievements during my Bachelor of Physiotherapy has been securing a university position every year. This achievement reflects the consistency, discipline, and dedication that I have maintained throughout my academic journey.

But beyond academics, I feel I have grown tremendously as a person. When I started college, I was primarily focused on learning the theoretical aspects of physiotherapy. Over time, through practical classes and clinical exposure, I have developed a better understanding of how to apply that knowledge to real patients.

How has Apeejay and teachers nurtured key skills?

Apeejay and my teachers have played a very important role in developing both my professional and personal skills.

As a physiotherapy student, I have developed skills through practical learning, clinical exposure, presentations, and interaction with patients.

They have also helped me develop communication, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, and patient-handling skills. Their constant guidance and feedback have encouraged me to become more confident.

What are your future aspirations?

My future aspiration is to build a successful and fulfilling career in my chosen field. I want to continue learning, strengthen my professional skills, and take on new challenges that help me grow both personally and professionally.In the long term, I aspire to become a knowledgeable and responsible professional who can make a meaningful contribution to my organisation and society while continuing to learn and evolve.
