Tell us about yourself

I am running an architecture firm, designing houses and restaurants in Delhi and Manali. Besides that, I am also involved in doing organic farming in Manali. Gladly, I am pursuing my passion in my profession and nothing is more satisfying than that.

What does a typical day look like?

My prime time is dedicated to architecture. Then, farming, fitness training, and reading each day is how I spend the rest of the day. I believe in evolving each day and investing time in these activities keeps me healthy and happy.

Tell us about your school life.

I enjoyed school life thoroughly. Dedicated my energy and time mostly to studies. Apart from that, I also participated in a bit of volleyball and was actively associated with quizzing. I recall participating in many inter-school competitions that remained as my learning milestones to date.

Share a few nostalgic memories from Apeejay.

A few of my fond memories from the school are – winning several quiz competitions, editing the school magazine, and being a prefect.

How were the teachers at Apeejay?

The teachers at this school have been the most supportive, and always inspiring. Whatever I am today, the values and virtues I inculcated, the indomitable spirit that surrounds me for achieving the best for me, I owe it all to the teachers here.

What are your dreams and goals?

My biggest dream today is to be able to serve my friends and family and some clients with organic produce and to be able to make people aware of the methods of organic farming.

Any message for the students of the school.

I would like to share a few pieces of advice from my experience which are – read more, not just your school books but encyclopedias, newspapers, and poetry. And don’t forget to take an active part in sports.

Your comments on the brain drain trend.

In my view as long as we have reservation quota in colleges, brain drain will continue. Quota should be given as per financial disadvantage, regardless of the person’s last name.

How did Apeejay help you hone your skills?

My school gave me the best platform for my growth and development. I feel that ensuring SUPW activities, and extracurricular activities in the school, went a long way in honing my cognitive abilities and helping me to figure out my journey to a fulfilling life.
