She is a Lower Kindergarten student in Apeejay School, Tanda Road in Jalandhar. Read on as we delve deeper into the story of this wonder kid.
A Remarkable Journey of Dedication and Practice
Aadhya’s incredible journey towards this extraordinary feat is a testament to her unwavering dedication and relentless practice. At a tender age, she exhibited a profound interest in rhymes, displaying an innate ability to memorise and recite them flawlessly. Recognising her passion, Aadhya’s mother, along with her teachers, provided unwavering support and encouragement, fostering an environment conducive to her growth and development.

The proud mother, Mrs Pardeepika Kapoor says, “I have been keen to know about children setting world records. So, I wanted my daughter to try it too. I feel she is gifted and has the caliber to achieve great heights. Therefore, I put her into such competitions.” Aadhya is a fast and dedicated learner, according to her. To ace the show, countless hours were invested in perfecting her recitation skills. Aadhya diligently practiced each rhyme, meticulously working on her enunciation, rhythm, and timing. Her commitment to excellence, combined with her genuine love for rhymes, propelled her towards this exceptional achievement.
Setting a New World Record
On the momentous day of May 2nd, 2023, Aadhya was ready to leave the audience spellbound with her remarkable talent. With unwavering confidence, she began reciting the ten chosen rhymes with remarkable precision and speed. Every word flowed effortlessly from her young lips as she captivated all with her sheer brilliance. The clock ticked away, and the anticipation grew as Aadhya raced against time to complete her recitation within the one-minute mark.

“It was a test of speed, clarity, memory and concentration. The rhymes were hand-picked by me. I borrowed some of them from her school’s curriculum and the rest were taken from YouTube videos. After grouping ten such rhymes, I started preparing her. While selecting them, I took into account the difficulty level and her strength to learn them,” Mrs Kapoor shares. The mother left no stone unturned to make Aadhya acquire it. She even utilised her play time and journey time to ensure that she remembers and recites the rhymes on the final day.
Mrs Kapoor sent her nomination to the International Book of Records through a video. Many verifications later, Aadhya was selected in about 45 days for the record. For the little girl, the record began more as a game but with due practice, she aced it. Her favourite rhyme is ‘Early to Bed, Early to Rise.’
A Beacon of Inspiration
Aadhya’s achievement serves as a shining example of how children can accomplish extraordinary feats when provided with the right support, guidance, and nurturing. Her accomplishment demonstrates that age is no barrier to greatness, and young minds have the potential to astound the world with their talent and determination.
Her success is a reminder to parents, educators, and society as a whole to foster an environment that encourages exploration, nurtures talents, and empowers young children to dream big. A disciplined and cheerful kid, she has also been selected for India Master Kid Competition this year. Her mother says, “Aadhya also loves to dance. She is practicing colouring and clay art too. She is keen to try new things.” Mrs Kapoor hopes that she grows up to become an all-rounder.
