In life, one’s dedication and hard work never go waste. This statement holds true keeping in mind the exceptional performance of students from Apeejay School, Faridabad Sector 15 who have not only passed the CBSE class 10 board exams with flying colours but also surpassed their own expectations.

Speaking to the school topper Anya Jain, who secured a stellar 98.4%, she says that her aspiration is to be an architect. “I would like to thank the immense contribution of my teachers and parents. My teachers were there for me 24/ 7. Self-study helped me a lot. I studied for three hours daily and in a much focused manner.  I got the highest marks in Science, a perfect 100.”

When asked what advice she would give to the next batch of students, she suggested, “I would say don’t take the undue exam hype or pressure. It’s just a normal exam. Be yourself and have faith.”

Another topper, Kashish Puri scored 97% and has chosen to pursue commerce in class 11.

Sharing about her performance, she said, “There is no secret, it’s just consistency and putting in effort without thinking of the outcome. I would tell all the students to remain focused on the goal.”

She further added, “I gave special attention to Science since I lagged behind in it in first semester exams, I was a little scared of it. I studied 6-7 hours a day. I studied at night, since it was more peaceful.”

Aspiring to pursue MBA in the future, she said, “Be it in online or offline classes, all the teachers supported us a lot and solved our doubts even a day before the exam. The school uploaded lots of MCQ’s and assignments. We practiced these questions and it benefitted us a lot.”

Akshat Amrit Raj, the third in the line of highest scorers with 96.6 % marks said, “I revised the NCERT books thoroughly numerous times. I studied for about 5-6 hours daily. The school teachers provided clarity for the concepts. The most important part was the frequent pre-board exams as it reduced the exam stigma and stress. By the time I was in the exam center, I was calm due to the experience of giving exams repeatedly.”

The budding engineer added, “The students of the next batch will give a new exam, so I don’t have any specific advice for them. I would just tell them to  revise the NCERT textbooks since most of the questions come from the book itself.”

I am very happy that our students continue to make us proud with their achievements.
Heartiest congratulations to the students of classes 10th and 12th- 2021 22 on achieving 100 percent results in CBSE board exams.
You have proved that consistency and excellence are the hallmarks of excellence.
