There is an adage: Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer. Keeping this in mind, Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, organised an enriching educational tour to Kufri and Chail for 78 students from Class VI onwards. The four-day excursion combined learning, adventure, and recreation, offering students an opportunity to explore the scenic beauty, culture, and heritage of Himachal Pradesh beyond the classroom.

The journey began with great enthusiasm as students set off for the picturesque hill stations. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain landscapes and pleasant weather, they experienced the joy of travelling together while learning valuable lessons in independence, responsibility, and teamwork. Comfortable accommodation and well-planned arrangements ensured a safe and enjoyable experience throughout the tour.

One of the major attractions of the trip was the range of adventure and sports activities organised for the students. They participated with excitement and confidence, displaying courage, cooperation, and sportsmanship. The activities encouraged them to step out of their comfort zones, build self-confidence, and strengthen bonds with their peers.

A refreshing nature walk through the serene Himalayan surroundings proved to be another memorable highlight. Amidst lush greenery and fresh mountain air, students observed the region’s natural beauty and developed a deeper appreciation for environmental conservation and sustainable living.

The educational dimension of the tour was enhanced through visits to the revered Kali Mata Temple and the historic Chail Palace. At the temple, students experienced the spiritual and cultural heritage of the region, while the visit to Chail Palace offered fascinating insights into its architectural grandeur and royal history. These experiences brought history and culture to life, enriching students’ understanding beyond textbooks.

The tour was conducted under the dedicated supervision of the educators, Mr Kuldeep Singh, Mrs Sonu Sangwan, Mrs Anjali, Mrs Bunty Dala, Mr Sandeep, and Mrs Poonam Sharma. Their constant guidance and care ensured the safety, discipline, and well-being of all participants.

The school Principal, Dr Vineet Vasishtha, shares, “Educational tours provide students with experiences that extend learning beyond classrooms and textbooks. The Kufri–Chail tour offered our students a wonderful opportunity to explore nature, history, and culture while developing confidence, discipline, and teamwork. I appreciate the enthusiastic participation of our students and the sincere efforts of the teachers who ensured a safe and enjoyable journey. Such experiences enrich young minds and contribute significantly to their holistic growth. Apeejay School remains committed to providing meaningful learning opportunities that shape responsible and confident individuals.”

The educational tour concluded on a joyful note, leaving students with cherished memories, stronger friendships, and valuable life lessons. Such initiatives reflect the school’s commitment to holistic education and experiential learning.
