Deepika Hooda’s son Suveer is a student of class II at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri. The mother, who welcomed her second baby recently, feels happy to see her son being able to responsibly complete his schoolwork on his own at such a young age, for which she credits the school.

Excerpts:

Is Suveer happy with the school? What changes are you observing in him?

Suveer used to be quite shy earlier. Since the time he joined Apeejay, I have observed a steady growth in his overall personality. Now that I have to devote most of my time to my baby girl, Suveer has learnt to complete his school assignments on his own and it is all because of the support he gets from his teachers.

Suveer actively participates in class activities and co-curricular activities. He interacts with his teachers and classmates. He is gaining self-confidence and I am sure he will perform even better in the coming years. The school promotes good discipline, and I can see its impact on my child. He also likes the school playground where he plays different games. I am quite impressed with his progress.

Why did you choose Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri?

Suveer’s cousins were already studying in the school, so we were aware of the quality of education offered by the institute. Now, all of them go to school together. Besides, as an Apeejay alumna myself—I studied at Apeejay Saraswati PG College for Girls, Charkhi Dadri—I have immense respect for its legacy and value-based education and wanted to expose my son to the same.

Do you stay in touch with the teachers?

Earlier, I would attend parent-teacher meetings regularly. With a newborn at home now, I mostly coordinate with the teachers on the phone. They are very cordial and share all the required information about my son and school. I have not had any issues with Apeejay till now. In fact, I am very happy to see how Apeejay Charkhi Dadri is boosting my child’s holistic development.
