Anuj Kumar, Assistant Professor, Apeejay School of Management, Dwarka, was invited for a one-day workshop on “Writing Dissertations/Summer Training Projects” this month by Integral University, Lucknow. More than 100 participants attended the online session including BCom students, PhD researchers, and post-graduate students from other academic streams.

In his talk, Professor Kumar elaborated on the essentials of research project publications—following guidelines while drafting a report, referencing, how to make a questionnaire, and how to float it among the target audience to get the desired response. “Always write your project in the third person and use Times New Roman as the font…avoid basic errors in formatting,” he recommended.

He also reflected on his experience at Apeejay School of Management and shared some anecdotes.

The session was highly praised by all the attendees. Pinki Giri, a BCom student, said, “Practical aspects of report writing were discussed during the session, and it will help us in improving our summer training projects.” Added Dr Farhina Khan, a researcher, “The session was practical and informative. We are looking forward to having more of these sessions with Professor Kumar.”

“I am grateful to Integral University, Lucknow, for inviting me and giving me such a good platform to interact with students. Knowledge sharing is a two-way process, and such sessions will help me improve my overall expertise further,” said Professor Kumar.
