Jalandhar-based college empowers tomorrow’s digital creators

Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA) in Jalandhar, took a progressive step towards equipping students with essential skills for the digital age by organising a three-week Certificate Course in Social Media Design. Conducted free of cost, this course targeted students of the 12th standard, aiming to introduce them to the fundamentals of social media design and its relevance in today’s world.

Led by Ms. Rachita Jain, a seasoned professional in the field of graphic design, the course covered various aspects of designing posts for popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and more. Students were immersed in the world of design aesthetics, learning how to create visually appealing content that resonates with online audiences. Additionally, they gained insights into creating and managing business pages on social media, leveraging these platforms for effective promotion and marketing.

A significant part of the curriculum focused on familiarising students with Adobe Photoshop, a cornerstone software in the realm of graphic design and image editing.
