On the bright morning of May 4, 2024, the Apeejay School, Svran Global in Sector 21-D buzzed with a special vibrancy. In a vital community initiative, the school, in association with Marengo Asia Hospitals, orchestrated a Free Health Check-up Camp. This camp was not just a medical event; it was a beacon of hope and health, echoing the sentiment that “He who has health has hope, and he who has hope has everything.”

From early morning, members of the Apeejay community, encompassing students, parents, and staff, gathered to benefit from complementary health services. The camp aimed to shed light on the importance of regular health assessments to pre-emptively address and prevent medical issues. The event provided a plethora of services, including blood pressure, blood sugar, and ECG checks, ensuring a comprehensive approach to health diagnostics.

Expert Care at Every Corner

The school grounds transformed into a hub of medical consultation, with various health check-up stations meticulously set up to meet the diverse medical needs of attendees. Each station was manned by seasoned healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. These experts offered their insights into recognising early symptoms and managing health effectively, thereby emphasising preventive care.

Engagement and Education

The highlight of the event was the interactive sessions with doctors who discussed triggers and management strategies for common health concerns. Such discussions are crucial as they equip the community with knowledge and practices that foster long-term health benefits. “By understanding what to look for and how to react, we empower ourselves to live healthier, longer lives,” remarked one of the participating doctors.

The Free Health Check-up Camp is a testament to Apeejay School, Svran Global’s commitment to not only educate but also to nurture a healthy community. “These small positive steps are significant in our journey towards a healthier tomorrow,” stated the school principal during the event’s closing remarks. It was a day marked by learning, health, and community spirit, leaving participants both enlightened and thankful.
